Student Visa (Cyprus)

Cyprus Study Visa Process

Here’s a quick guide to the essential steps for your study visa application:

First, secure your spot at a recognized university or college in Cyprus.

Apply for a National Visa (for studies over 90 days).

Submit your visa application form, passport, acceptance letter, proof of finances (€6,000–€10,000), health insurance, accommodation details, and academic certificates.

You don’t need to send documents directly to Cyprus – submit everything to the Cypriot Embassy or Consulate in your home country.

Apply at the nearest Cypriot Embassy or Consulate. Make sure to do this at least 3 months before your course starts.

Processing usually takes 2-3 weeks. Be ready for an interview if needed.

Apply for Residence Permit After Arrival

Once in Cyprus, apply for your Temporary Residence Permit within 30 days.

Students can work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) with a work permit.

Ensure your institution is officially recognized. Your visa won’t allow full-time work unless permitted.

Start your Cyprus journey today – your future is just an application away!
