German Student Visa Requirements for Indian Citizens
Indian students applying for a German student visa must submit two completed sets of documents.
Below is a summary of the required documents:
- *Visa Application Form*: Two signed copies.
- *Passport*: Valid for 3 months beyond visa appointment, with 2 blank pages. Two copies of the bio page.
- *Letter of Acceptance*: Original and two copies from a German university/school.
- *Proof of Financial Means*: Blocked Account, demand drafts, scholarship, or sponsorship letter.
- *Health Insurance*: International student coverage from a German provider.
- *APS Certificate*: Obtain from the German Embassy’s Academic Evaluation Centre.
- *Visa Photos*: Three passport-sized photos.
- *Academic Certificates*: Original and two copies.
- *Resume*: One copy of your educational and professional experience.
- *Language Proficiency*: TOEFL/IELTS (for English programs) or TestDaF/DSH (for German programs).
